A tabletop 1927 nm thulium fibre laser with a fractional handpiece that can work in gentler non-ablative or stronger ablative styles. The 1927 nm wavelength is strongly absorbed by water, so it acts on the upper skin layers, making it well suited to surface pigment, dullness, pores and fine lines with short recovery. Pulse duration and power are set separately, and roller and different-size tips are available. The maker reports this as China's first thulium skin laser cleared by the US FDA.
